12 Allergy-Friendly Halloween Candy and Treats

Updated: Oct 21

Can you believe Halloween is right around the corner? Parents are getting costumes ready for their kids, spooky decorations are going up, and everyone is purchasing Halloween treats for all the trick-or-treaters about to come. You want Halloween to be fun, but also safe and inclusive for all. But how can you do that when food allergies affect an estimated 8% of children in the United States (or 1 in 13 children)?

Thankfully, there are plenty of great options for allergy-safe sweets and treats out there. As a registered dietitian nutritionist and mom with multiple food allergies myself, I am happy to share with you my top 12 Halloween treats (available on Amazon!) that are allergy-friendly. I'll buy a mix of them so that kids and families can have options (such as ones that are nut-friendly, dairy-friendly, and/or gluten-friendly).

This allergy-friendly list is great for trick-or-treating and also Halloween class parties! Order soon so that you get your treats in time!

Note: As with any food, please remember to check the label for a complete list of ingredients and potential allergens.
